We can handle all your technical writing needs, from computer manuals to flooring installation guides and everything in between. For most projects, you’ll supply the factual material specific to your project plus any text or images you want included. You can also provide additional topics or avenues to research. Our Technical Communicator will spend 2-3 hours getting familiar with the topic and drafting an outline. Upon approval of the outline, we'll begin writing the first draft.
Once the first draft is finished, we generally have a few questions or topics we need clarified. We’ll discuss those, then your Technical Communicator will update our draft and send it to you for review. Most often it takes between two and three drafts before the document is completed.
While the industry standard is about 4.5 hrs per page, it generally takes our Technical Communicators between 2-3 hrs to complete each page (this includes research, writing and editing). All content is created using Microsoft Word. We can provide you with a fully functional or secured PDF upon request.
Just need editing? No problem! We provide a variety of editing services to meet your specific needs.
NOTE: Engineering, programming or other highly technical documentation may be quoted at a higher rate as more specialized experience is necessary to complete these projects accurately.

Need a simple flyer, a 200-page color catalog or templates for your growing company? You’re in luck. We can handle that and more! We'll work with you to come up with a design that fits your current business objectives and long-term vision.
We generally use Adobe InDesign for all multi-page, color publication layouts. Microsoft Publisher is our application of choice when it comes to simple flyers, especially for clients who need up update minor information on their own throughout the year. When it comes to business templates (for internal documentation, publications or general use), Microsoft Word is the best choice for most businesses. It’s powerful, flexible and widely available.
Before we get started on any layout or templates, we’ll discuss the specific elements you want included, any colors or logos you want displayed as well as the intended audience for the publication. We'll also want a text copy (Word or text file) of the content to be included in the manual. Once we understand your vision for the publication, our Layout Designer will create the initial template and send you a PDF to review. Upon your approval of the template, the Layout Designer will update the publication with your content and send you a PDF for your final review and approval.
After you’ve approved the final publication, we will send you the master files plus a print-ready version you can send directly to your printer! You'll also receive the original graphic files and full copyright ownership rights.
The time it takes to design a publication layout varies widely. Complex publications with numerous elements will take more time to design than a simple layout. In general, it takes between 3-5 hours per page to design a beautiful, professional layout.

Upon completion of the course, you will receive the source files as well as the zip file for uploading into your LMS.
We use Lectora Publishing Suite exclusively for all e-learning course creation. Our Designers can create courses that are SCORM or AICC compliant, if required. Generally, it takes between 4-7 hours per course page to design a fully-functional and interactive e-learning course.
Need additional graphics? No problem! We have a talented Graphic Designer who can craft a variety of images to compliment your publication layout. The best part is - you simply let us know what you're looking for and we'll coordinate everything else. You'll receive 2 to 3 designs to choose from. Upon your approval, the final graphics are placed into your publication.
